Welcome to a new year at Cuningham Park! Here are the first two PTA meeting dates to kick off the school year. While I am working to gain access to the newsletter, I will continue to share updates on Facebook and the website.

August 28th at 5 PM: Celebrate with us at the Pizza Party on the Playground, followed by our first PTA Meeting. An agenda will be posted on the website a few days beforehand. This meeting will primarily cover introductions, plans for the year, and the budget.

September 29th at 7 PM: Our second PTA Meeting will be held in the library. The agenda will be posted approximately a week in advance.

We’re excited to kick off a memorable and successful school year together!

New to Cunningham Park?

Do you have a Kindergartner starting in the fall?  Or are you moving to the area and have students starting at CPES in the fall?  We can't wait to have you join our CPES Cardinal community!  Don't forget to register your student with the school's front office if you haven't already.  (school contact info here)
 
Here's what you can do now to be "PTA-ready" for the fall:
  1. Sign up for the weekly PTA Newsletter.  Details and instructions are here.
  2. Follow the CPES PTA on Facebook, (click here) and also join the group for your grade (search for "CPES Class of 20XX" - rising Kindergarteners are class of 2039! 
  3. Next Kindergarten Play-Date is August 15th from 10-11 at the Playground. Freeze-Pops will be provided to the kids.
Finally - create an account here on our PTA website. While you don't need it right now, you will eventually need to have an account in the fall for the directory (to both access the directory and add/update your info).  Plus, having an account makes credit card payments and pretty much everything else on this site a lot easier.
