Chess Club

Grades: 4-6^

TUESDAYS 3:30-4:30 in the Art Room

Dates: April 12, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

 Chess is a fun game that incorporates many the attributes of a great person: knowledgeable, inquisitive, thoughtful, articulate, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-taking, balanced, and reflective. Prior to registration , students must know all the chess rules for: Piece moves and captures; Castling; En Passent; Rules on Draws. Students will participate in a fun and friendly ladder competition during the session.
