Announcing the 2023 Cardinal Campaign
| Each year, donations from Cunningham Park families help fund the numerous programs the PTA sponsors. It is because of your support that the PTA is able to provide community events, assemblies, buses for field trips, school technology, and treats to keep our teachers happy! Unlike other fundraisers during which children need to sell something, 100% of all funds from the Cardinal Campaign support Cunningham Park Elementary School. To ensure we can continue to support our community, this year’s goal is to raise $12,000! |

For example, look at how far your donation can go!*
- $25 buys plants for the school garden
- $60 provides lunch for all teachers in your child’s grade
- $100 provides a scholarship for a student to participate in after-school activities
- $300 provides new recorders
- $500 provides buses for a field trip
- $500 provides recreation equipment for recess for all grades
- $1,000 helps the library fund an author visit
- $3,000 helps the school pay for computer charging stations

- 15 minutes extra recess and popsicles to the three classes with the greatest percentage of donors. Remember to select your teacher(s) during the checkout process
- If we reach our goal of $12,000, the whole school will win a pajama day!
All donations to the CPES PTA, including the Cardinal Campaign, are tax deductible, and a donation receipt will be provided after your contribution is received.
Similar to other fundraisers, please share this campaign with your close family and friends and ask if they would like to make a tax-deductible donation in support of our school. Here is a sample email that you can copy, customize and send asking for their support.
All donations should be received by November 17, 2023. If you have any questions, please email Shri Noel, our PTA president.
Additionally, donations may be eligible for corporate matching. If your employer matches, please consider requesting a match for your Cardinal Campaign donation. Our EIN is 54-1557308. We have a Silver certification with GuideStar and are also recognized by Benevity. If your company works with a different vendor, please email Erica Lee and we'll work to gain recognition with them, too.
